Global search bar
Overview
The global search bar enables a scheduler to quickly perform a global search for jobs or resources.
Using the global search bar
The global search bar can be found in the top right corner of any console:
The global search bar will search for both resources and jobs at the same time and is capable of showing both at the same time. If this is the case, they will be split by a header which indicates the type of object being shown beneath it.
Searching for jobs
The global search bar uses job names and job descriptions when it searches for jobs.
Jobs that are found will be shown under the Jobs header in the search results, with keywords highlighted in bold. The search bar can return twenty jobs at a time and will display in descending order by name.
Searching for resources
The global search bar uses resource names (first and last name) when it searches for resources.
Resources that are found will be shown under the Resources header in the search results, with keywords highlighted in bold. The search bar can return twenty resources at a time and will display them in ascending alphabetical order.
Note
Resources include both assets and people.Feedback
