Add or change a profile image

Overview

Both the Skedulo web and mobile apps pull resource avatars from the resources’ Salesforce chatter profiles. These are used in map view for instance on the web app, and for the profile image on the mobile app.

A Salesforce Chatter license is required to use this feature.

Add or Change a Profile Image

Salesforce Classic

Follow these steps to add a profile picture in Salesforce Classic:

  1. Select Salesforce Chatter from the App dropdown list (top-right).
  2. Click People (tab).
  3. Select the required user by clicking on their username. The search box can be used to locate a user.
  4. Scroll the mouse over the bottom of the photo placeholder and select Add Photo.
  5. Browse to the location of the photo, select the required image and click Open.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Crop the photo as necessary and click Save.

Salesforce Lightning

Follow these steps to add a profile picture in Salesforce Lightning:

  1. Select Salesforce Chatter from the App Launcher.
  2. Click People (tab).
  3. Select the required user by clicking on the username.
  4. On the profile picture holder, click the camera icon and select Update Photo.
  5. Browse to the location of the photo, select the required image and click Open.
  6. Crop the photo as necessary and click Save.
